I saw the "Exodus, God and Kings." It wasn't really biblical and it was boring to me. And I have seen "The Passion of the Christ." Now that was an excellent movie!! The passion of the Christ! :D I loved it from beginning to end. It touched my heart all through the movie because it was that good! In this movie, the passion of the Christ, there is a man in a black long robe with a hood and all you see is his white face. He portrays the enemy, Satan. He is always challenging Jesus and temping him to do bad things, just like he does today to us Christians. A lot of people today don't get this! They just don't understand it! Oh yes!!! The Ten Commandments! I always love this movie growing up though the years. I remember it used to come on around Easter time! :) My mother and I and my brother as a family used to watch this everytime it came on TV! An all time great classic biblical movie! :D And "Ben Hur." I've wondered if this was really bilbically? I have studied and still continue to study my bible twice daily, and have never, ever found or read anything concerning Ben Hur. Another favorite of mine is "Jesus of Nazereth." Jesus of Nazareth is a 1977 British-Italian television miniseries directed by Franco Zeffirelli and co-written by Zeffirelli, Anthony Burgess, and Suso Cecchi d'Amico which dramatises the birth, life, ministry, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. And it was the best Jesus movie other than the passion of the Christ I have ever watched! Both movies moved me into tears because both were that good! :)

I'm a movie buff and the list you put up is great, but don't get me wrong you are missing quite a few such as: David and Goliath, Samson and Delilah, Solomon and Sheba, Joseph, Jesus of Nazareth, The Bible: In the Beginning (1966 film), Kings of Kings, Esther, The Prodigal Son, Ruth, and of course The Greatest Story Ever Told. These are the movies I grew up with. I love Ben-Hur, The Ten Commandments (with Charlton Heston) portrayal were awesome (May he R.I.P Ben-Hur/Moses). The Passion of Christ tops them all. These type of movies are no longer being produce which is very sad and they are not being shown anymore like they use to during the Holidays.

The Ten Commandments is the best biblical movie about Moses.

The Ten Commandments and Ben-Hur were Great Choices. Charlton Heston was the Best Bible Movie Actor. Love Passion of the Christ and still have to see Mary Magdalene. However I'm not sure about Exodus because of Moses' Staff Being Replaced by a Sword, God Depicted as a Child and Moses Spending the Burning Bush Scene in the Mud. The Effects and Costumes were Awesome though.

Great List, but you missed out on a gem: Quo vadis (1951) One of the most touching ends, and with images and iconic performances close to ben hur!
