About the Club: This is a community of people that are passionate about Jesus and support my work in the ministry of Daily Disciple!

Club members are essential in our mission of helping people follow Jesus Daily! Daily Disciple reaches thousands of people with Gospel-centered content every single day, and that is made possible by our club members!

It’s my goal to be able to work full-time on Daily Disciple and through your support, I’ll get closer to that goal :)

About Daily Disciple:
Daily Disciple is a ministry founded to help you follow Jesus Daily.

Whether you are already a passionate disciple of Christ or you just want to learn more about this Jesus thing, my goal is to authentically engage with our questions, struggles, and doubts as we seek to encounter Jesus in our daily lives.

I’m a 21-year-old guy and I don’t know it all, not even close, but as we look in the scripture and talk through life issues and culture, my prayer is that you would move that much closer in relationship to Jesus.

I loved The Prince of Egypt and I also liked Joseph: King of Dreams.

Movies that preach a message or try to teach a lesson are fine overall, but people forget that movies are entertainment and it's OK to just tell a story without some lesson to be learned.

The Prince of Egypt is genuinely one of - if not the - best animated movies of all time. The animation, voice acting, and score are all just stunningly well done. The fact that it's not *blatantly* heretical or blasphemous is equally stunning. I loved it as a kid, but coming back to it as an adult helped me to understand why my whole church was obsessed with it at the time.

The Case for Christ stands out for me. Slow at the start but builds into a really good story!

Hacksaw Ridge is the best movie I have ever watched, with a very strong Christian message without being preachy

The Hiding Place was heart wrenching yet faith strengthening based on Corrie Ten Boom real events. What a soldier for Christ! I cried my eyes out 😭

I love the Bible Series—Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, David, Solomon, Esther, Jeremiah—using award winning actors in a number of the roles

I love those movies! And I absolutely adore The Chosen! My favorite movie of all time is I'm Not Ashamed which is about Rachel Joy Scott, the first victim in the Columbine school shooting. A lot of people don't know it or don't like it because of the acting, but I just love it and definitely recommend watching it.

Even as a Christian myself, I tend to avoid "faith-based" movies that are so fixated on spreading the message and thinks we'll easily ignore the bad writing, acting, sfx, character development or lack thereof when we actually WON'T.
As you said, they're basically sermons in movie form. (ex: Second Glance, God's Not Dead franchise)

I'd make a case for Narnia and Lord of the Rings too, haha! But I appreciate this video, I was convinced there were practically no good Christian movies/series out there

while watching this video, I can't help but remember C.S. Lewis, who wrote the gospel message on books that are still read and loved by a generation that hates and rejects that same gospel
