Imagine if hull upgrades actually made sense, we could be able to choose different hulls, ones with more AA and secondary focus and others more focused on main battery and survivability. Especially on "paper" ships it would be interesting.

The most annoying thing about ships with secondary turrets is that those turrets are often identical to what are found on destroyers, yet have nowhere near the accuracy nor rate of fire of those destroyers. It would be kind of balance breaking, but I'd love to see a ship where the secondaries could be aimed and controlled fully by the player just like a part of the main battery. E.g. Gibraltar has a Daring strapped to either side, and as mentioned the Ushakov has eight Smolensk turrets. It would be great to have a real reason to use those turrets.

Hey PQ. You should try Iwami ifhe secondary build, in rank is very strong. You can easily get 80k dmg only with secondary per battle. The dispersion is better than the Deutschland BC line. The active angle is limited but even with 3 secondaries is still deadly

What is the best line to get as first? I am new to the game and my highest tiers are new york and minekaze. i also have that 5 tier russian cruiser i got for free but i think its trash xD What should i play to learn the game best?

5:18 - I don't get it. The secondaries only seemed to fire on one side of the ship... either at the Hannover or the DM, but not both? That's how it's supposed to work?

I personally have been running a semi--secondary build on the ushakov and even kremlin for a while now, with secondary mod 1, long range secondaries and close quarters combat. The entire purpose is just to maximize the gun reload for brawling, because who doesnt love a 22 second reload kremlin, plus you get the occasional fire and it helps with zoning out dds.

Objectively makes them worse in all other situations, but lets be real, if you are playing the kremlin/ushakov and not big dicking down a flank why are you playing those ships. Surprisingly even though the secondary power is way worse imo the build is better on the kremlin since you are just a more nimble/ the main battery firepower is better tier for tier/ less passive matches. That being said being able to get 2 salvos per combat instructions when on like half health is absolutely a big meme in the ushakov

Also fire prevention isnt as critical on the ushakov because the second superstructure fire location is (or at least was) in a super dumb spot basically over the turrets, so something trying to HE pen the superstructure is kinda unlikely to set it
