The process was about a 6 month wait once I was notified by PGE that I was qualified to have a free 30 AMP generator LINK transfer switch installed. it only was 20 min for the utility tech to install. It came with a 25 ft 30AMP 240 volt cord that has two circuit over load switches installed for each 120 volt leg.
