Such a clickbait. He didn't make any prediction, he still lives in the 70s and knows nothing about the future.

The amount of deaths is far higher than 55000 and the conflict in the ME is heavily supported by the US. Of course, this guy will not tell that.

Watching this now in 2022 with Taiwan, Ukraine, Inflation and more I can just laugh at this TED talk but it is probably also shocking how fast we have gone down the abyss to John himself. It really is shocking.

The cheapest, least expensive, scenarios always come into existence. The single reason world war 1 happened because it was actually the least expensive option. The war however come with ripples of disturbance that contributed to a bigger conflict, namely WW2.

So let me paraphrase this guy.

"ISIS & Al Qaeda one of the top four threats to humanity by 2030's along with Climate Change.
Yet rise of China and India NOT only is not a threat but it will bring peace and prosperity."

His geopolitics is ABSURD.
