Watching this 10 years later I have to say I really like his optimism and faith in the human race to make these technologies available to the masses.

Why after 11 years, I finally get this video in my queue? It makes me wonder what else is in Youtube that I'm missing. Thank you Dr. Kaku.

He is a good sales man, he only talks about the good and leaves out the terrifying part of technology.

He always makes people laugh before he does the speaking. This is because he knows that laughter makes a person's mind open to be more receptive. This guy is a genius for sure.

This man is brilliant! I can listen to him all day. It's almost frightening to see where technology will take us. It is expanding so fast that most all of us will see at least some of these advancements in our own lifetimes! Again, brillaint speaker! You're truly among my favorites!

SOUNDS LIKE IN THE FUTURE WE WILL BE TRACKED 24-7 EVERY WHERE AND EVERY SECOND... WHO IS WATCHING ?

The future is Big Brother.
Most people will fall in love with Big Brother. This is how "scientific" totalitarianism works. It offers you the whole world, in exchange for your soul.

Having watched this video made 13 years ago, it's remarkable to see how much of what was discussed has already become a reality, such as the development of self-driving cars. However, it's unfortunate that despite these technological advancements, the benefits haven't necessarily reached those who are most in need. This realization can be disheartening, and it's easy to feel like true equality is an unattainable dream...

Watched this video back in college in 2013. Back here today just to be disappointed. Will come to it in 2030 now.

I absolutely love the natural almost comical and matter of fact way this guy talks. He's so approachable and so real when compared to most highly intellectual people. He mixes in the most descriptive "to the point" jokes as well.

Michio Kaku is the man and was a huge influence on my idea of applied science back in high school. So grateful this amazing human was born to influence budding young scientists everywhere.
