Learn how to solve for the lengths of the sides and the measures of the angles of a triangle using the law of cosines. The law of cosines is used in determining the lengths of the sides or the measures of the angles of a triangle when no angle measure and the length of the side opposite the angle are both known.

The law of cosines can be used to find the measure of an angle when the length of the three sides of a triangle are known. The law of cosines can be used to find the length of the side of a triangle when the lengths of the other two sides are known and the measure of the opposite angle is known.

I'm in 8th standard but I'm studying trigonometry for 2 months, infact it's not in my syllabus nor till the 11th standard but I love Maths and I discovered or you can say recognised a formula to find the base of the isosceles triangle:
2a(sin(θ/2)
Where a is the length of one of the similar sides and theta is angle between them. I kept making formulas, algorithms, equations and finding interesting numbers and I thought this formula will save much time. Thank You for reading this.
