This was very helpful insight. Read this passage in Exodus 32 recently and I had some internal struggle initially rationalizing how it was that God went from being ready to administer his wrath on the Israelites to administering grace once Moses interceded on their behalf. The observant perspective makes this very clear. Praise the Lord

As a calvinist, I very much appreciate hearing Dr turek say this in his own voice. He is an extremely brilliant Armenian and I got saved listening to his apologetics.

God doesnโ€™t change. The ways He worked in men from the time of the law in Israel and the time of grace after Jesus resurrection has changed how we relate to Him but Heโ€™s still the same God.

God never changes his mind. We change our position relative to him. If we're in sin, we are under his judgement. If we repent and trust him, we move from being under his judgement to being under his mercy and grace. We change. He remains the same.

This is what enemies of the Bible don't understand (Always trying to find errors to discredit God's word). The whys and how's, the Bible was written.
Apostle Paul said, the word of God can only be discerned with and by the Holy Spirit.

Our God is never angry with our sin. He can't behave like a human to react to our sins. But there is a consequence for every action the human takes (whether a good action or a wrong action). It is the Abrahamic perspective of thinking that God gets angry.

I turned a phrase for that it's retroactive prayer! And it's biblical because God was already acting before you prayed for it!

The question is why? Why does he do such things? If he already knew what Adam would say, why did he ask him questions? It wasn't God who needed the answer; Adam needed the answer.
