frozen snickers banana bark! it’s gluten free, dairy free, and refined sugar free, and so easy to make.

banana bark:
•2 ripe bananas
•1-2 tbsp natural peanut butter
•handful crushed/whole peanuts
•2-3oz dark chocolate (i use dairy free and refined sugar free)
•sea salt

peanut butter caramel:
•1 tbsp natural peanut butter
•1 tbsp pure maple syrup or raw honey
•1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
•pinch of salt
•splash of warm water

1. slice your bananas into coins then place them as close together as possible on a tray lined with parchment paper. using a separate piece of parchment paper gently smash them down to help them stick together.
2. next, melt your chocolate using the microwave or double boiler method (optional — i like to add 1 tsp coconut oil to the chocolate to help thin it out).
3. spread 1-2 tbsp peanut butter over the banana coins then drizzle with the melted chocolate. top with chopped and whole peanuts.
4. next, mix together the peanut butter caramel. start with 1 tsp water in the caramel and add more if needed until you get the right consistency.
5. drizzle the caramel sauce over the banana bark then drizzle with any remaining melted chocolate and sprinkle with flakey sea salt.
6. place in the freezer until frozen (at least several hours), then break into pieces and enjoy! store leftovers in the freezer.
