I switched from a Full Tower PC to a Mac Mini M1 and love it. The form factor, ease of use, quiet operation is a god send. Still getting used to MacOs but so far it's just a joy to use on a day to day basis. I recommend investing in the Pluggable Thunderbolt Hub for additional ports and such.

I think even if you buy the M1 Mac Mini now you won’t be regretting much because its not like the M1X is the replacement of the M1. And the M1X will likely cost a premium over the M1 as they are aiming for different market.

I’ve been using a mini pretty much since release- totally agree about the lack of ports, but other than that it’s an absolute unit!

I got this Mac Mini as my first Mac ever, and wanted to check on how the M1 would handle my editing and along with it's good price (here in the Philippines). And after a few months I am completely sold on the M1's performance with animation and video editing projects, but the Bluetooth on it was atrocious, my keyboard and mouse were BT and my Airpods Pros too would disconnect and become choppy during meetings, so I ended up selling it and getting an M1 Macbook Pro instead, and plan to trade it up when the MBP M1x releases too. Apple did an awesome job with M1.

Really excited for the M1X Mac mini! Hopefully able to move AE, C4D and Blender on it, natively!

Great review, your channel is really awesome. I been a subscriber for a pretty long time and fun to see how much your channel has grow. Im still a pc user but are thinking of the switch, im a Davinci Resolve user and are not sure if this is the right choice.

Just wish I could fully control my Mini M1 with my Ipad ! Turn it into a touch screen Mini M1 using the Ipads speakers too !
