Social media but also very bleak financial prospects. When you have to make 100k+ to be able to get by in many places, it's a daunting journey.

Depression drives crime, unemployment, substance abuse, homelessness and more and yet nothing is being done.

Add social media, unrealistic expectations and one can understand how it can be tough. Lack of resources, be that family, money or housing is always tied to this as well. I am not in this age group, however, I have found diet and intense consistent exercise, discipline, meditation and smiling with others works very well. Find things that you control and make you happy and get after it. The results on such efforts work very well to combat down times.

The world is screwed up and the answer to that isn't more anti depressants and other drugs... The answer is to fix it.

Is this supposed to be something new, said this year's ago & especially here in California with how lost these people became; no one to blame except themselves; their choices; don't wanna accept help & think they're always in the right; fix yourselves folks, nothing new here.
