Guys, I know how facade is pronounced now. Obviously, I made a mistake in my video. I don't need called out anymore. I make one little mistake, and everyone hates me for it. I don't care anymore. It's not a big deal. It won't happen again if you care that much.

Love the VHS tracking adjustment effects you used in this video. Any of us old enough to have used a VCR and watched VHS tapes know what those lines are instantly.

Thanks for sharing. I grew up in West York and went to Delco Plaza and the West Manchester quite often. I am too young to remember much about the York Mall.

I’m still really bummed about West Manchester mall being closed. I saw some photos of it and it looked awesome! It would’ve been a great Crown American to catch. Really bummed it’s gone. Great video by the way!

Manchester mall, Galleria mall, and Delco Plaza all 3 were my hangout spots in the 80s.
I worked at McDonald's at the Manchester mall when I was in High school. So many memories. Thanks for taking me on a trip down memory lane!

One of my friends was the manager of the electronics boutique when the mall first ed, then worked at the electronics store that was to the right of the video of Boscov’s that you showed. our other friend, ran the arcade that was upstairs in the food court at the time. So many great memories there. This video brought many of them back, so thank you.

The sad part is the York Mall and West Manchester Mall and Delco Plaza thrived for years. They were never failures. Only since the rise of Walmart invading York and the rise of the Internet in the early 2000's did they start to decline. As for the York Galleria. I feel if they had not implemented that stupid rule about kids under 18 had to have a parent with them. That made the Galleria no longer a place for teens to hang out with thier friends on a Friday and Saturday night. Talk about shooting youurself in the foot.
I look forward to watching this video when it premieres

Great video! I forget what mall had a channel back in the day, but I’m going with that mall. I haven’t heard channel hardware in a long time. 🎉

I worked at Delco Plaza and York Mall at the movies. Also worked at wee three records at West Manchester Mall. The mid eighties till the end of the 90s We're incredible times to grow up going to those malls. They were really special. It's sad to see that the mall era has ended. The kids of today will have no idea what they missed.

The best memory of The York Mall was Rudolph’s House at Christmas time, I always wanted to see the inside. My favorite place at the North Mall was Horn and Horn Smorgasbord. I sure do miss the old York Malls.

Remember picking up Call of Duty games at the York Galleria during my high school years... man that place went down hill quick. Sad part is Capital City 30 minutes north In Camp Hill and Park City 20 minutes east in Lancaster continue to do fine. What happened to West Manchester is a crime. Miss that mall.

Outstanding video - you can tell how much time and effort it took! I grew up about an hour from York, and I had no idea that they had 5 malls at one point.

It’s crazy this is like 20th place I personally know and would frequent. It’s surreal to see these places left behind in time. It’s sad because my kids won’t ever feel the same enjoyment out of places like this. Everything now is just a carbon copy, every building, every sign, everything is so “sanitized of personality” and it really hurts seeing personal identity just slowly die.

The Avaling Dairy fire is what closed there doors and Rutters took over the restraunt and eventually tore down the Avalong restraunt and built there own Rutters Restraunt where the bank now sits. They then built the convince store and gas station next door. That was just torn down and now being rebuilt. I played minutiae golf there alot ad a kid and my Dad liked hitting balks on the driving range I often wondered how many golf balls were found while building the Galleria Mall.

I used to work in the upstairs part of Sears in 2006 & 2007 and the mall was always busy. It's sad to see its current state.

This video makes me sad, I grew up going to all those malls & loved them all I would have to say the York Mall would have been my favorite, then the North Mall & Delco Plaza, I also loved Queensgate back in the day which you didn't show in your video
