Gotta give props to Big Boo's Haunt for actually being creepy, and Hazy Maze Cave for actually getting me lost! XD

"And the music is pretty relaxing and is super fitting for that stage" then he gets hit by an eel. WOW

Wet Dry World was honestly an amazing stage in my opinion-my #1 favorite. I remember spending hours as a kid just exploring that underwater abandoned town and trying to come up with stories about it.

My other favorites are probably Tiny Huge Island and Whomp's Fortress, as well as Hazy Maze Cave.

Dire, Dire Docks was probably the only stage that I didn't like very much- i still thought the submarine was cool though.

I actually really like Wet Dry World, it's more of a puzzle course and I like that.
Rainbow Ride is easily the worst to me, it's so boring and slow. Oh and Dire Dire Docks kinda sucks too.

*Starts of with Wet Dry World*
We're gonna be here for a while...as that is my favourite stage...

Hazy Maze Cave is my favorite stage, specially because it got my favorite cap power-up, Metal Mario (it felt so good just running over things in that form) and because it is the only Mario stage where you can RIDE A LAPRAS xD
It also was so big and felt like an actual maze, I got lost so many times in this stage.

Nah, I think most people agree that rainbow ride isn’t as good as Nintendo could have made it.

Wet Dry World is the Water Temple of Super Mario 64.

It took me years to find the Snowman’s Land course in castle. This was before YouTube existed and I couldn’t find any game manuals to this game at the time.

When I was a kid I kinda felt bad for dory/dorie for being stuck underground

A good way to rank every level in SM64, if I may suggest to all of you, is using as term of comparison the difficulty in catching every single COIN inside of it. For example Tiny-Huge Island and Lethal lava land are extremely difficult. Tiny-Huge Island with the record of 191 coins (I am not considering the impossible coin since it requires the use of a bug inside the game) and Lethal lava land with 133 coins in total are EXTREMELY difficult because they have no space for mistakes. In lethal lava land above all you have to be careful to not miss a coin coming from a bomb that need to be pushed in the lava from a very significant height at the top inside the vulcano, and that passage has to be done after you have collected all the previous coin outside the vulcano.
Even Hazy Maze cave with 139 coins is quite a challenge. Especially because of a coin from a bat basically next to the big hole where the rocks fall.

The other levels have no particular difficulties if studied well chosing with path to follow in order to not miss any coin.

Trust me, try to experience SM64 in this way and you all can appreciate the depth inside every level.
