Ranking EVERY Boss Fight in Super Mario 64

Ever since the very beginning of the Mario series boss fights have been an essential part of the games. While the 2D ones are often on the weaker end, the 3D games seem to generally get fairly good bosses as seen in games like Super Mario Odyssey. So that made me want to look back and see where 3D Mario bosses got their start in Super Mario 64! So today I’m going to be ranking all 15 boss fights in Super Mario 64!

Mario 64's bosses hold up surprisingly well, some bosses like eyerok have even inspired an entire genre of boss, they all have super unique methods of defeat with makes each of them feel very memorable

So yeah wiggler is 2 spots higher in my list but other than that are lists are the exact same!

While this game doesn’t have too many bosses, the ones that are in 64 are pretty dang good, especially the Bowser fights!

Eyerock is one of the strangest bosses in the series, mostly because it’s an entity hiding in a void room accessed through a tube in a pyramid. I still like it though. Chill Bully is a bit underrated but could’ve been used a bit better. King Bob Omb and King Whomp are still the best for their iconic simplicity. The DS version had a lot of great bosses too.
