i remember when i ran away last summer for a few weeks (i don’t remember exactly how long) the conditions in my area were horrible and because of my anxiety i was suffering from constant paranoia and could barely sleep at all. i remember when i came back home and my family acted as if i has never been gone in the first place. living on the streets was really tough especially since i had no money, but anything was better than staying locked away in my room my whole life

We kids run away from home such as Abuse, religious trauma, or feeling unsafe with a family don’t let us go back to our families tell them why they are running away if they tell you why (such as religious trauma, Abuse, Sexual assault from the family, etc that happens in a family that traumatized them) realize how they feel
