I will never understand how you can be so calm around a gaboon viper.

Not her ribs! I just learned this recently too from zefrank; the ribs don't move, it's the belly muscles doing all the work!

I love a Gaboon Viper. They are beautiful, with the color, and scale pattern. Cindy

A cool thought is how evolution will build on this. Imagine snakes that move like trains with little stumpy grippers underneath.

The most beautiful snake in the world. That pattern. That big wide head. Those fangs❤

The word "loco" is pretty fitting, because only someone crazy is willingly letting a venomous snake freely slithering on your floor

My Blood Red Python moved the same way. Chunky and big like this one 🥹. I loved to watch her move around, very fascinating.

Serious question. Do you keep antivenin on site? Like is it possible to purchase it as just a citizen? Or do you have to have a permit or something? Do you have to keep it on sote? Or contact your local hospital and have them stock up?
