Grandad called my dad asked him to lend him a hand on the farm in the EasternCape, there was a storm the night before and this old wall had fallen over and blocked the path where our swiss goats used to walk by near the lagoon, anyway dad asked me to go with him to the farm and help, and well i loved the farm it was always awsme. Anyway got there grandad had his truck pulled up and he and his workers were busy loading all the rubble, me ans my dad jumped in and helped, good hour in my foot slipped inbetween the rocks and i just felt this sharp pain in my leg and this loud hissing sound i fukn knew i just got bitten by a snake fuk my heart was instantly pounding, grandad told my dad to rush me to the hospital didnt know what snake it was, but grandad caught it though and one of his farm hands was driving his truck and he was sitting passenger side with the snake still alive in his hand lol rushing to the hospital to show the doctors what snake bit me, turned out it was a albany adder. Luckily only needed 14 vials of antivenom. I hate a snake most excruciating pain of my life.

Gaboons, for their length are probably the snake with the widest girth. Their markings are incredibly beautiful ! Looks like this one is getting milked.

You need to be very careful if you hold it by it’s head. I’ve seen fangs go right through the lower jaw and jab the guy holding it. The fangs are MASSIVE
