The whole "evil is just the absence of good" idea is so stupid. Sure, it sounds good if you're a theist who absolutely needs to handwave away evil, but no one would come to that conclusion without that motivation. In reality we all know that the person who helps an old lady across the street, the one that ignores the lady, and the one that pushes the lady in front of a bus, are each acting in very different ways. Pushing her in front of the bus is not just the absence of good will to help her across the street, it's the positive desire to fuck things up.

@3:14 can be inverted. Good is not a thing the way evil is. Just like cold is a lack of heat, and dark is just a lack of light, good is just a lack of evil. For evil to be objective it needs to come from God, so a God that is objectively good is logically impossible.
