Animals can make moral decisions. One instance that comes to mind is when a child fell into the Gorilla territory in a zoo, the Alpha male Gorilla protected the boy from the other Gorilla's and allowed the zoo staff to safely reach the boy. Plenty of animals can attack if their territory is encroached on and this one chose not only to not attack but also protect the child from its pack.

Animals can be moral. I work in an orphanage. A baby was abandoned in a grazing field for cows. They would move away from the baby and not trample on him. The herdsman was curious about why they were splitting in a different direction at this spot and found a child. He called for help and we took in the child. Police investigated and found the mom who insisted that she birthed an animal, not a human whilst the cows treated him with moral compassion. He is really amazing. Beautiful, intelligent and strong.

One thing I've learnt with the debates is that you simply use their arguments against them.

Since they don't understand the Islamic perspective, we use their own perspective. 😊

They might easily see the flaws of their past belief, but once they become a believer of their new belief, they'll be biased just the same as any other human beings do.

Alhamdulillah for Islam, for it is definitely unlike any other beliefs.

I fully agree.
Animals are capable of making empathetic decisions. Which is what's defined as moral here.

Animals have more agency than i thought a few years ago.
Dog remember their owner that haven't seen in years. And remember they were treated by them.
Birds like crows or seagulls can form bonds with humans.
Dogs take care of you cats and vise versa.
If seen a wale return a phone to someone who dropped it into the water.

But tgis goes the other was around too.
Monkeys trying to steal children. Dolphins "playing" with other animals...
