Some gift. “here’s a reality of suffering you are born into, now believe in me even though I give you poor evidence or suffer eternal punishment.”

Perfect tri-omni beings don’t “yearn”. How would they, yearning is necessarily temporal, it requires change over time.

"The greatest sin is to reject the free gift of salvation."

Right sounds like a proposition only a psychopathic yandere narcissistic EX [in this case imaginary] would say to keep you in an abusive relationship.

I thought blaspheming the holy spirit was the unforgivable sin?

I would certainly agree that equating the threat of an eternal punishment with a grumpy face is understating things a tad.

Christian’s, I need your help, please answer the following questions….
1. What does it mean to be a Christian?
2. What is the primary task(s) of a Christian?

Free gifts from loving people don't come with threats.

Your god does not respect free will if he uses coercion.

Free will doesn't mean that you could do whatever you want without receiving any consequences and punishments. For example, in GTA, if you commit crimes, the police will hunt you down. Does make GTA not an open-world game? Does that mean you do not have the option to choose not to commit crimes in that game?

Right, because the "inconvenient reality" does not mess well with the current "God is Love" narrative.
OT & NT stories would tell you otherwise. But look no further than Christian attitudes & behaviour towards non-believers throughout the ages, and you'll have your answer.

curious how christians just can't agree on their nonsense. There is no evidence of this god, nor that it is "loving". Loving isn't threatening people with eternal torture if they don't love you back. that's called being an abusive parent or spouse.

You're too nice, Sean. My response is that anyone who thinks of Christianity this way is insane. I mean, free will is the very reason why people can be blamed for their actions. Sure God gave us free will, but that freedom can be abused. If I use my free will to be a horrible person, God has every right to be angry, as does everyone. It's like trusting someone with the keys to your car, and then they try to run you over with it. I'd be mad, too.

So if the guy was crying at the end of the video instead of being angry, that would be a more accurate caricature of Christianity?

@SeanMcDowell
Here is a recommendation, perhaps it would you more if the _"Free Gift of Salvation"_ didn't sound like a quote from the movie The Godfather 🤣🤣🤣
God - "Ehh, ... Sean, Tell the Atheists that I like to make them an offer they can't refuse, a Free gift of Salvation, they don't want to find out the consequences, ... _Voi buona giornata_ "

Hey sean, the worst sin someone can do is deny the Holy Spirit, this is unforgivable.
