Bersa TPR9c Review

Truth be told I have a few Bersa's in my personal collection. Considering the lane and space that they live, I like them a lot within that context. So when I got the chance to try out the Bersa TPR9C I jumped at it. Here is my first mag review of the Bersa TPR9C in all its glory. As is the case with all my first mag video I’ll be doing a full review in the near future. Enjoy.

Colion. I´m from Mendoza, Argentina. Bersa it´s the biggest firearms manufacturer in Argentina and the second in Latin America. I know from a good source, close to the company that a lot of resources and ideas were put into the TPR series, along with the BP series were designed thinking about the american shooter, the needs and the preferences. Thank you for review. You got a lot of fans here in Argentina.

Bersa may well be the most under appreciated, under rated firearm on the market. I own the Thunder. 380, the BP9cc, and the TPR.40

All solid, reliable, accurate, great triggers out of the box, and each one under $350.

Bersa is PHENOMENAL. Seriously.

I like this guy... He's articulate, intelligent, forthright, and does NOT come across as a gun nut, paranoid prepper, gangsta, or any of the other negative conotations that are often applied to gun owners. I'd like to see him review one of the SCCY .380s soon. Not all of us can afford Glocks & SIGs etc

I swear by Bersa, just picked up the TPR9c myself, freaking love this gun. My opinion the most underrated guns on the market..

Who else wants to see Colin review antique guns, like a once every 3 months kind of deal? His style and personality would be pretty cool, especially his jokes and quips embedded into the history of the gun.

I don't think Bersa gets enough recommendation for their firearms. The very first firearm I purchased was ultra-compact Pro 40. It gave me absolutely no issues and was absolutely the one of the most accurate guns I owned.

Good review. "Age of striker fired pistols", I get that. My first semi-auto pistol experience was in the U.S. Army Military Police, the 1911a1. It was difficult to shoot at first but once it became familiar I enjoyed carrying and trusting it for the next 4 years. It spoiled me to the hammer semi-autos, as well as my trust in the service revolvers in my years in Police work. Double action..no sweat. Striker guns are ok., but I don't have the same feeling (trust?) with them. I think the Bersa TPR9C will be my next gun purchase.

I just got a tpr9c with the threaded barrel. I put a hk mini comp on it. I also took it apart and did a light polish on the trigger, sear, slide, hammer where it touches the slide, and hammer spring bar. I cut 2 coils on the hammer spring, and replaced the trigger spring with a beretta 92 spring. The beretta spring look pretty close to the stock one, and goes right in. It's a bit thinner, and helps lighten the trigger pull.

I did all this before shooting it. Took it to the range today and compared it to my beretta m9, with the 16 lbs hammer spring. Man was I surprised! The trigger was super smooth, reset very short, and with the recoil was less than my beretta! Maybe the mini comp helped with recoil, but I was surprised with how little recoil it had. It's my first bersa, and wouldn't hesitate to get another! Great value for the money.

I bought one just over a week ago and after a little range time with it I just absolutely love it. My Shield9 sits on the shelf now and this now my carry gun.

I saw the Bersa TPR9c yesterday for the first time. My brother purchased one and had already been to the firing range with it a few days before. He's retired from State law enforcement and has owned and fired numerous firearms in his career. He said he was impressed with this Bersa TPR9c and really liked the trigger pull. I'm definitely going to look for one in the next few weeks!

Good to see you finally discovered one of the most overlooked pistols on the market. Its no CZ or H&K, but its a great gun. I just wish some of the holster manufacturers would make some good holsters for it. It also has a frame lock that lets you disable the pistol if you need to secure the weapon someplace where you can't maintain positive control. I've never used it, but its a feature you didn't mention. Safety/decocker, block safety, and frame lock. Lots of safety features. It has good sights, but if you want, you can upgrade to Sig sights. The trigger is awesome, specially when you compare it to any other pistol in this price range. 13 +1 isn't bad in a compact pistol... I'd love to see an in depth review on this one.

I love this gun. Ive owned it for 3 years and I'm still watching reviews on it. I put a set of truglo fiber optic night sights on it. Makes it even nicer to shoot.

Awesome brother, traded my Beretta 92fs, to big to heavy to CC. You are completely right! It’s a cross between a Sig and Beretta. Thank you and God bless you brother.

Carried one for years, very underrated but outstanding performance in a firearm. Good review

Nice review, the BPR9C is a great and very affordable pistol. I've had mine several months and have about 600 rounds through it. The gun is solid, accurate, has a decocker & a safety, all things I like. I know that SA/DA Steel and alloy guns aren't for everyone but if it's a style you like check out the TPR9C.

Great review! This is the first time I watch one of your videos, and I really liked the originality. Walking around, with a cameraman following you makes it as if we are walking next to you and it really gives the idea of the shooting, by watching it from a lot of different angles, by watching the recoil, the aim, the sound. Also you make good points on things that are not often talked about such as the hammer making you bleed (in this case not), or the ergonomy of the safety/decocker or the other levers, describing that sometimes those levers can get in the way, but in this case nevertheless being of size, they show you where tu put your palms and thumbs with flow. And many other points than you don't hear in every video around, so congratulations man! Really enjoyed the video, good luck!
