In all my years of playing trombone, I have never seen an F flat. Only E naturals. Blew my mind!

Back in Elementary school, I signed up for band class. Being autistic, my head was full of music at all times so I thought I'd be really good at it... I tried to get Trumpet but accidentally put Trombone but that ended up being a blessing in disguise since the trombone just... clicked for me. Like... I was natural with the trombone. I could play the chips Ahoy theme without a music sheet or anything. Just from my head. Then again, it's probably an easy song but I was super happy I was good at something.

Buuuut... I ended up getting kicked out of lessons since I couldn't make heads or tails of the music sheets. If the letters were present, no problem but I couldn't read regular music sheets. I had to give my trombone up and everything. It was heartbreaking for me.

In 1966 I started playing trombone. Two years later in eigth grade I stopped. And that was it. I had stopped practicing because I was embarrassed that someone would hear me.
But I did gain an appreciation for music which largely consisted of rock concerts and the one or two nightclubs in town. Then disco took over the music and even the Stones had a hit or two.

Anyone else think it’s weird how much he moves his trumpet while he plays? Or is that just me lol.

But either way love the videos man keep it up!

The songs r amazing! I love them. U have a great guest! U did great, playing with him! I also play the trombone. I can't believe how great he is! U should do one with another instrument. Even the clarinet was amazing.

Being a trombone player, I can confirm that the top 5 are spot on. Most of the trombone stuff is down an octave from the original lick, specifically bolero. I was hoping that y’all would have done a duet on the trombone solo during Waltz no. 2 though. That would have been really cool!

I'm a trombonist, and I played Dvorak literally a few nights ago for my high school concert. I was not expecting that lol

More popular than Tommy Dorsey's "I'm Getting Sentimental Over You"? John Coltrane's "Blue Train"? Al Grey's "Don't Get Around Much Anymore"?
To each his own.

How did you play the Bolero? It sounds like you play it with a cup mute, but your trumpet is open. If I didn't know how great you are, I would think this is a video editing mistake.

No mention of Blue Bells of Scotland?!? I know its hard to play, but that's kinda what makes it a great bone piece.
