I love when physical humor is used in concerts. When I was in band at high school I had an intense snare part. The instructor decided it would be funny if I had the sticks bounce out of my hand at the end of the song.

Same instructor who gave me a car brake and a sledge hammer for a part. Percussion is fun.

there was a girl i knew who played the trombone in orchestra with me and absolutely played these parts so fantastically, so light and with such humor. i had the biggest crush on her and every time i heard that slow slide into the melody my heart skipped a beat.
