The fact that he sings immediately after delivering what i imagine to be one of the most breathtaking things there is to do is insane to me

Excuse me, did he even BREATHE after that?? He barely had a beat between the bone solo and singing!! The powers of stank are truly superhuman.

That title got me, lmao. Not even the first lady could resist the power of the stank.

The trombone has such a raw tone in the upper register, I love hearing it at low trumpet ranges like this. Incredible

It's very interesting to me how ''stank face'' prooves that music is a universal language. I mean, we all have our personal feelings towards music, and each one of us reacts to music in his own way, but when you hear groovy stuff like that, everybody (except for people who don't have a soul) reacts the same way : stank face. And what a weird reaction, stank face looks like as if you were mad . Like, ''this shit it so groovy it makes me mad!!!''

As a trombone player this is both terrifying and mesmerizing at the same time. Respect

Mhm, horn angle is incredibly important, so thank you for notating that!

Trombone Shorty is a beast. Got to see him perform on Charleston, WV years ago. The man has MILES of stamina, to switch between trombone playing and projected singing.

That was great. A lot of times solos just feel like wankery to me, but this one carried such a great melody through it.

As a low brass player, I'm blown away by how well he hit those high notes. Not just that but he made the trombone sing!

Band Manager: 'Hey, Drummer Steve: you know how you always cut the sleeves off your shirts before shows?'

Drummer Steve: 'Yeah, looks cool, right?'

Manager: 'No, no, yeah. It's cool. Yeah, it's like your look. I get it. Listen, tonight we are playing at the White House. For the President. Think maybe you could dress up a little?'

Drummer Steve: 'I got you fam, no worries.'

Trombone shorty is an insane artist. I saw him a couple years ago at a small jazz fest and he was so down to earth and humble. Amazing musician, great musical group, highly recommend checking them out of you haven't. Stuff like this is a very common occurance during his shows
