Three Sounds: Boss FZ-1w

For today’s Three Sounds video we are taking a listen to the Boss FZ-1w, the newest addition to their Waza Craft line. Born out of the build process for the TB-2w, This is Boss’ take on a classic silicon fuzz circuit.

Vintage mode has plenty of gain on tap, while retaining the ability to clean up with your guitars volume knob, while the Modern mode adds more gain and tightens up the midrange. The tone control is also contoured quite differently in each mode.
