Are you the kind of person that brings picks in your pockets to a concert, just in case the band needs a last minute fill in? I love Pink Floyd, David Gilmour, and the connection to fuzz culture. I obsess over the different rigs David Gilmour has used over the years, and I always ask myself if I can get similar tones from my setup. The FZ-1W can absolutely get those Gilmour tones.

I recently discovered this video as I got a FZ-1W as a gift. But I struggled with sustain issues (compared with, say a big muff). Adding the BD-2 right after the FZ-1W helps a lot! Great video, thanks!

I have to say…. I tried this pedal out and not only will it Gilmour but it does that raspy hard rock tone as well as makes for awesome sludge metal tones too.

Great video!. Got an FZ1w on the way after watching your reviews on it. BTW, Cool to see someone rocking an Ibanez RT. Those guitars were way before their time. Some call it the "poor man's Suhr Modern". I've had a few from that "Retro-Vintage" series over the years, and I still own a 92 RV with that great Viper neck .

Nice. I use boss gt1 and I've not tried much else. Still new coming from drums and keys. But I absolutely love the journey. Boss has been amazing.

Very good job and this fuzz pedal sounds nice. It's near to the Gilmour tones but I think it's not exactly that : I prefer the Big Muff. This FZ1W is a little bit too fuzzy for Gilmour. But it's a really interesting demo ! Thanks !
