No matter how glorified this is, in due time, the lack of sleep will take its toll on you.

I work for a UK airline and during Covid, we were fully supported by managers during redundancies. I can’t believe how the Middle Eastern airlines treated their employees

It is quite concerning how many videos there are about quitting Emirates. Obviously there is something very wrong with this company and it's attitude towards employees. I do not think there is another airline company with so many ex flight attendants talking about their experience.

I'd never work anyplace where bullying is tolerated and their is age discrimination. Others shouldn't either to force them to change!

I received an offer with Emirates right before the pandemic. When the pandemic hit they cancelled our training dates - and that was that. Now im about to go to training for American.

Best of luck !

Wonderful video! Honestly, ever since I read that article about the flight attendant weight thing, Emirates has sounded off putting to me. How accurate was that situation and does the UAE not have laws protecting individuals from that?

I know lots of people above the age of 50 that are still flight attendants, and they love it, however, not in the Emirates.... more like in Europe, America or South America, there is no age limit. The oldest flight attendant in the US is around 69 yo. It's totally possible. But not with Emirates, usually outside the UAE, people can fly around 80 hours per month, in the UAE I guess it's around 120 hours pm.... that's insane....

I love. Love. Love how you delivered this message to all cabin crew wannabes out there who would love to join Emirates and while I was one of them 9 years ago trying to get into emirates went to almost 6 open days barely making it to 3rd stages because I thought that that was my only dream. Long story short 10 years later I am now employed by Emirates as a groundstaff but based in Europe. Safe to say that I live my best life now looking back I can definitely see why I didn’t get into Emirates cabin crew because I meant to be here where I am now. But shout out for those of you who want to be a cabin crew for Emirates yes join us but know what you signed up for. Exactly what she said write it down on your journal. Write it on a piece of paper. Know what you signed up for! This is a very demanding job, not for the fainthearted 🎉❤ good luck everyone xx

I loved the video thank you so much, it's so in depth and you covered a lot of things I had questions about
Now I have a specific question maybe you don't have the answer to and that's fine hh do you know if one can do a master's online in dubai while working as cabin crew ? Like do you think it's doable to study something simultaneously? Maybe you know someone who did that ..
Thanks
