Putin PANICKED... Orders DRAFT of 160,000 Soldiers

Vladimir Putin has ordered the conscription of 160,000 more Russians into military service, with the decree taking effect April 1 and deployments set for July 15. Targeting men aged 18–30, this is Russia’s largest draft since the 300,000 mobilization of 2022, despite ongoing ceasefire talks with the U.S. and Ukraine.

Russia has lost over 916,000 troops since 2022, fueling draft fatigue and domestic unrest. Polls show 76% of Russians would support a peace deal, and experts warn that the forced draft, labor shortages, and a crashing birth rate could turn public opinion further against Putin’s war.

Gerdes says Russian casualties are 1300 a day, . 160, 000 divided by 1300 is about a 3 month supply of cannon fodder. Donkeys and electric scooters are being used as transport. Howitzers are down to 122mm Who is gonna build the materiel, if the workers are drafted? Come August1, rinse and repeat?

That's another 160, 000 Russian s people who are going to be removed from manufacturing and service jobs, which will accelerate the downward spiral of the Russian economy, in addition to the thousands already removed and placed in the military industrial complex. This is going to be disastrous for the Russian economy.

There is a draft in Russia every year, they have mandatory military service. A draft is not a mobilization. The only difference is that usually draftees would replace members of the armed forces that retired and returned to civilian life. Nowadays they replace soldiers that became fertilizer in UA and they may meet a UA drone while in training. The 130K draftees is not unusual either, the average number lies around 110K. What makes this draft remarkable is that it drains the already tight employee supply in RU, which will add to inflation. There is a severe shortage of men between 20 and 30 years old in manufacturing and farming, a shortage that isn't solved by migrant workers. Migrants are afraid of being forced into the army, so there is very limited supply of Kazakhs, Kirghizians, Uzbeks, etc. With the current rate of losses (KIA, AWOL, captured and WIA) RU needs to replace about 65K experienced soldiers per year. These conscripts will never become specialists during their military service and they're drafted too young to have learned a useful skill in civilian life. These conscripts are an anchor around their commanders'necks, at best they can replace a specialist that can be moved to the front. But that moves a specialist into a position where his skill is not very useful and it leaves an uneducated boy in the job he had. That makes two men at the wrong place.
