I mean, from a writer's perspective, it obviously makes way more sense to push the Maggie vs Negan narrative as opposed to her finding redemption in her heart right away. I'm Team Negan personally but I certainly understand those who fall on Team Maggie. We also have the knowledge of everything Negan has been through and endured, which Maggie does not, and probably doesn't even care to know now, if ever. Being a long time watcher of TWD, I'm also pretty sure there's more to this cliffhanger than we know, and this wouldn't be the first time the writers skew the ending in one direction only to flip it in the totally opposite direction in the next episode. Regardless of how it plays out, Negan with the cool head has much more of an advantage over Maggie, who's blinded by emotions

100% Negan. He's redeemed himself, saved everyone, saved some people more than once, and what does he get? Virtually nothing. He was right in what he said and they ignored him because he was Negan. Negan spend the last 6 years redeeming himself. Maggie left, came back, brought a group of well trained, dangerous killers on her tail and yet the group suddenly loves Maggie and thinks Negan is evil. One dimensional characters anyone?

I'm on team Negan, she acts like her and Rick didn't do stuff to Negan and his people and they both did the same things really to survive, you know ? Maggie needs to get off her high horse and Negan needs to stop poking the bear so actually I'm on team Dog's side! Lol. Seriously though they both did their fair share of crap to each other and Maggie needs to acknowledge that or ger over that and Negan needs to just be patient, but not bend over and take it.

Team Negan all the way! He’s 100% correct. She’s came in like a dictator. They killed a ton of his people. He had to retaliate. 🤷🏻‍♀️ And I’ll be the one to say he did the right thing. First of all, it’s way more realistic that he didn’t save her. If someone is threatening you and trying to kill you would you honestly save them?

1:19 Negan has done like only two jobs in Alexandria, this one and we seen him helping rebuild things like twice..and he was probably in charge of food because Gabe is actually the one in charge of food and need some assistance and we know Gabe has some type of tolerance for Negan so he probably asked Negan but when ever we see Negan doing any job he's with others never by himself so that is showing they don't trust him enough but anyway with how things are in Alexandria you should put your people to work wherever you can and that they can. Last thing I'm team both cause I see both sides of both Maggie and Negans story being told I agree with somethings both of them do and I also disagree too..that's just good writing to me if it makes you feel undecided and really makes you have a debate in your own mind.

After rewatching "the day will come when you won't be" season 7 episode 1 even though Negan may have changed I cannot unsee what he has done to Abraham and Glenn so nah Abraham was a super cool character and Glenn well he was a day one of course.

I can understand Maggie hating Negan and always being angry when she sees him, but she does not need to kill him, although after what he did in the premiere episode, now she definitely has a new reason to, although maybe she decides not to be a hypocrite, considering she would have done the same thing if the roles were reversed. Also there’s the fact with footage of upcoming episodes with them fighting together.

Totally ticked at Negan!!! We all know Maggie doesn't die in the tunnel!!! I don't trust Maggie's people!!! Where were they? They don't trust Negan either...so why did they leave Negan and Maggie? Did they think Maggie would kill Negan at that point? They weren't concerned he'd kill her? Negan ends up helping Maggie against her own people...I think.
