Please either get rid of shorts or give us the option to remove shorts from our home page. Like a disable button that we can choose to turn on or off.

As a retired exec, what I hear her saying is how great she is as chief product manager to come up with ideas that (see comments below) nobody cares about. A marketing survey is in order. Side note: execs often fall victim to "breathing their own exhaust" and if "I say it enough times (especially to my subordinates), it becomes reality."

Nobody has ever wanted ANYTHING more than a way to shut off Shorts completely, like YouTube was a few years ago. Even at a cost that is MORE than Premium. Stop forcing brain rot and distractions. PLEASE.

You need to define what "and more" is. So I can watch a gaming video without ads, but if I watch a news clip then I suddenly have to watch ads?

Right now (at least for some channels), a view from premium generates less revenue than a view from someone watching ads. Are you guys doing anything to ensure that views from Premium users start paying equal to views from non-premium users?

why does YouTube do the opposite of what people really want for this platform..?

if YouTube listened to its community it would be 100 times better

here there is a risk that everyone will abandon YouTube and use another platform

in short it is as if YouTube wants to stop being an app that no one will use anymore
