*If you are like me, & want to avoid offending anyone, ever.

Here are the reasons for each:

💐 Patterned dresses >30% white are often seen as a subtle way to attempt to upstage the bride

📸 Many modern photographers desaturate their images (make them less colourful) so colours that are very close to white may appear white in some photographs

🖤 Wearing black is traditionally seen as a way to say you are ‘mourning the union’ (upset about it - like a funeral) BUT I have learned from some lovely commenters on past videos that it is quite appropriate in some places in the world, especially New York.

☀️ Wearing dark colours can ruin the vibe the couple is going for if it is an outdoorsy Spring Wedding. However at somewhere like a church or hotel navy and emerald are appropriate :)

🌧️ A lot of people will complain if it rains at a wedding, especially so in Spring. It is really inconsiderate to the couple who may still be having an amazing day. Many couples who experience rain at their weddings have fond memories of it!

🌬️ Wearing short skirts and dresses at an outdoor spring wedding is a recipe for disaster

👒 Wearing a large hat, as cute as it is with your outfit, may block someone’s view - try a cute headband or bow instead :)

👖 & yes, a lot of people (I’m looking at you, men 👀) treat spring weddings as an excuse to dress very casually. Unless it is in the dress code, don’t.
