This is one of the most thoughtful designs I have EVER seen on YouTube. Your approach to selecting some of the most solid/higher end items is to be commended. Excellent! Thank you.

I've been piecing together my own bag after watching countless videos and yours is almost an exact duplicate of mine! Same brands as well. It is very comprehensive with a eye for quality products. I loved your video as it was validation for my own bag

Dang! I notice in each of the areas of a pack, , you really did put the best items for their particular task. Not just the best, , but proven to be the best. I have 95% of your kit. I don't know what your charging, but I'm A solid g into mine. Well done

Very good choice of items. The only thing I am missing, is a medium sized swiss army knife. Sure, the multitool will provide similar capabilities, but the pocket knife will provide it faster and more convenient. And a Bundeswehr Field Stove would also be a great addition. No pertect, but it holds it own fuel for the size (and weight) of a card deck...

Greatest GHB on YouTube. You’re great behind a camera. Very mellow and relatable. More VIDEOS!!

Very good presentation. Awesome accessories. I like the "quality" brands you mentioned. Pricey, but you already thought of most any scenario and built the kit accordingly- saves me brain storming or learning on "the fly", when you're caught in an emergency! Nice job!

One of the best bug out bags ive seen on YouTube. Many quality items that will work/last, along with covering almost all areas.

I see clearly where most of the inspirations come from. Very reasonable packed bug out bag. I would definitely feel well equipped with that kit on my back. Good job guys!

Loved this kit!!! I LOVE the grayl!!! We take it hiking and here in Central Oregon the river water, filtered, tastes AMAZING!!! It’s great on hikes! Curious though if you are the son of or related to The Green Beret? You talk like him! I love his videos too! Much love to you - I watch a lot of these videos as I slowly keep adding to mine. Yours is one of the best!! Thank you!

I have been watching videos trying to prepare and have to do it little by little because of cost, but this video makes me want to go and buy it all now. 😁

A solid kit. Recommend adding a spray bottle of AgNp to the medical kit to prevent infections… the number one killer.

I like how the bag unfolds so things aren’t buried.

Enjoyed the review and how you went over the gear in categories. This method lets you see what items can be used in conjunction with other gear and it simplifies organizing items per there individual group. I'm a fan of 511 gear. I currently own the Rush Moab 6 and 24 pack. I also use the Lima messenger bag when I teach during the week. What I like about the amp bag is the clam shell opening, you can unzip and view all your items at once, thats a game changer. 511 makes good, tuff gear, it definitely won't let you down. Im very pleased with my bags so far. Thx for sharing and best wishes to all. 😉👍

Nice start.
I live in the north east so extra socks, beanie, gloves and pretty much head toe is critical. I also always keep Vicks rub.
Vehicles get a tote and a back pack, hiking boots, you outfit from the vehicle and carry as close to 20 lbs each. Water is everywhere here so 3 ltrs and a filter is plenty. I didn't see signaling like a whistle and orange panel incase you need to increase rescue odds. I acknowledge your radios, lights, mirror and fire but a signal panel is set it and forgot it. Slingshots are light effective tools for travel.
Final thought, I would ALWAYS choose a hip belted larger pack in a subdued color. By day 2 your going to thank me.

Yes I just watched your video and found it interesting, and as good as it looks there are at least to things that I think should be included in that kit a folding camp stove and at least a one person cook kit

I spent a ton of time watching hiking/bugout bag content on Youtube to come up with everything that was in this video. I still took a few things away from this video like the monocular & carabiners. Thanks for taking the time and doing this video.

This video came up on my feed, good kit!
I teach prepping and security and am a big advocate of front loading (suitcase style) packs vs top loading (duffle bag) packs.
The contents of the kit is well thought out, I too recommend most of what you showed.
Medical kits should be readily available, so I recommend that they are either on the inner top or mounted to the outside of the pack.
Fish mouth spreaders are good when boiling water.
As a former Eagle Scout and current Scout leader, I use Boy Scout Merit Badge pamphlets as handouts covering most topics. They are easy to read and understand. I also recommend the BSA Field book for more in depth knowledge.
And survival by the numbers =
2 is 1 and 1 is none (redundancy of critical items).
And remember the 3s:
3 hours exposed to inclement weather
3 days in hot weather without water
3 weeks without food

Amazing video I love the 5.11 amp quality back pack and just all around quality gear definitely reliable in a bug out situation 👍

Incredible effort and a comprehensive collection of equipment and supplies very useful in a wide variety of situations! Well done! Not surprising that the pack’s value totaled the number listed. Top quality!!
