One of the standout dishes at Watan is the Special Afghani mixed grill, featureing an impressive selection of kebabs, chops, tikka, wings, and more. Served with a variety of rice options and vegetable riced topped over an Afghan naan, this is a feast that is sure to satisfy even the biggest appetites. The price of £54 for a group of 4 is excellent value considering the quality and quantity of food served.

We also tried the famous Watan Chapli kebab, which is a spicy and flavorful patty made with minced meat and spices - a must try! The charsi chicken karahi was also a standout, tender chicken cooked in a tomato-based sauce with aromatic spices. Both dishes are bursting with authentic Afghani flavors and are cooked to perfection.

Beyond the fantastic food, the modern decor and live cooking windows create a welcoming and lively atmosphere, which adds to the dining experience.

Watan is a great spot for anyone who loves good food, great service, and an immersive dining experience.

Overall, loved our experience and although we opted for the Afghan food Watan also served a massive range of Pakistani and Indian dishes too!
