I am loving these short form videos about what different campaigns offer. I don't really have enough free time to play a lot of campaigns so this is really useful for me

13 tips for scaven noobs.
1. You need food - it gives you campaign bonuses and, more important, ability to put conquered cities to tier 4-5 immediately.
2. You take food from a) battles, b) pastures like in Miragliano, c) under-empire cities
3. Your Engineer from Ritual of Doom creates under-empire city with good building, so spam this ritual immediately after cooldown
4. In under empire try to balance visibility with food and expansion buildings. My favourite is -80 discoverability.
5. Most efficient and easy to use army is a several plague prists on front which spam clanrats, and 15+ units combination weapon teams or artillery. My personal list: 1 Warlock-Engineer, 4 plague priests, 5 catapults, 5 rattling guns, 3 warp jezzails, 2 plague-wind mortars.
6. In midgame you should have 5-tier cities, build t5 order buildings, which gives you +1 level for new lord. Once you can hire 13 level warlords, hire warlord, put 2 points in Ravenous Expancion, then fire. +4 of settlement income would be still in effect. Repeat each turn.
7. For busting research go to Monstrous Abominations tech, it would give you Hell Pit Attendants which increases research rate.
8. Take an eye on another ancilary - Bell Polisher - he increases capacity for precious Plague Priests.
9. Sack-city strategy, when you just repeatetly sack same city multiple turns in a row, useful for gaining food(and xp of lords and heroes).
10. On high battle difficulty AI infantry tries to dodge catapults, but if you play on lower _battle_ difficulty catapults are so OP that I immediately put first conquered city on tier 3, build catapult building and 5 catas into my army.
11. On lords skill tree always increase your ambush chance.
12. Stormvermins have no practical sense, their value-for-money is pathetic. Build them just for fun.
13. Look-watch scaven videos made-crafted by LegendTotalWar. He is the smartest-biggest brain rat, yes-yes!

These videos are so useful when you're really in the mood to play a certain type of campaign and don't want to take the choice between one you've done before or one you haven't that maybe turns out 20 turns in just isn't fun that way.

I also tried the Orion campaign as hyper aggressive (not my usual style) on your recommendation, and have been really enjoying it.

Playing as Grom I was over the moon to get an alliance with Ikit Claw and get an outpost built.

Goblin horde + skaven artillery = no more wood elves.

I also agree Ikit Claw is not a challenge to play as but definitely one of the most fun if not the most fun.

I usually only play around 50-70 turns in my campaign. But Ikits was by far my most successful in this time in terms of lands conquered. Stretching as far east as Kugath and south as Mannfred. Didn't go north much, probably Drakenhoff was the most North. I had however landed in Lustria to the south west. Definitely all about stomping the ai and world conquest. Even on harder difficulties.

My personal problem with the skaven was always that, they are presented as this tide of claws and teeth that overwhelm their opponents with sheer number of bodies it can throw in the meatgrinder, and thats what i was hoping to get when i started playing them...
But the best way to play them isnt like that at all? They are masters of artillery, weapons teams and heroes, but all their melee just seems lacking. Was really hoping to just flood my enemy with rats, but instead i got nukes and gattling guns 🤷‍♀️

Legend I see what you're doing with this series and I love how strategic it is <3 Inspiring work!

It's so nice that you can get Skavenblight so fast to level 4 (level 5 isn't needed that much, as poison wind mortars come from t4 and 5 has mostly monsters that ikit won't need that much). Just sack Tobaro for some turns and you'll have enough food, then occupy tobaro and abandon skavenblight, then resettle it on level 4.

Ikits is my second favorite campaign after Imrik. Playing whack a mole with the never ending tides of skaven, ogers and greenskins is just a bit more enjoyable and challenging

This is a DLC faction ("The Prophet and the Warlock"), but imho one of the best DLC for TWWH. Skaven without it kinda suck but with it (Mostly due to it allowing for true weapons team armies but the single entities are great, too) become so much fun. They are like "What if Dawi were cowards but fun to play agressively at wild disregard of certain losses as long as overall victory was archived?"

Now this is a good-ass campaign.
I love them instantly. They just make sense to me because it's basically just Empire.
