I cant even comprehend how much force that is. I was lucky enough to get to take a ride in the new gt3 rs at a local track day (family friends's) and even going intona high speed corner at 1.2g was so hard to deal with as a PASSENGER. Meanwhile f1 drivers routinely endure quadruple that for years of their lives. Absolutely insane athletes.

No matter what the argument is about experiencing lateral or vertical G’s you have to remember these guys are also holding their necks up and controlling a vehicle on the edge of traction placing the vehicle inches from disaster. So please, let’s not downplay lateral G’s on F1 drivers.

As a non F1 "watcher", I still knew these cars/drivers were ungodly....but almost 6 gs?!!! And taking turns at 160+?!!!! My mind is absolutely blown!!! Watching Richard Hammond try to work his way up to an F1 really put it in to perspective for me. If you havent watched him try amd drive one, go check it out. Older video but still crazy
