My tip for ugly concert merch is to get pins instead! Concert pins are way cheaper than a shirt and you can slap them on anything. I love my ones from MCR (tho i did get a shirt too ngl)

Things I’m skipping this yr: oversized/baggy EVERYTHING. Realizing I much prefer a good pair of bootcut or flare jeans.. and I’m not the biggest fan of baggy shirts unless it for working out. Also skipping uncomfortable footwear, fast fashion hauls, basic tshirts :3

Passing on: Huge 2L+ water bottles (when did we decide it was normal to casually carry around these behemoth containers?); Stanley cups (I think they’re a bit ugly as they’re so top-heavy); Baggu bags (too basic a style for me personally); ballet flats (I had to wear them to work in the late 2000s and they’d literally fly off my feet when I was running around. So uncomfortable especially as my feet are used to being laced into boots!); any kind of casual sportswear; denim maxi skirts. 🖤

I have the exact same Sony headphones, I've had them for about 3 years, and they're still working very well, even tho I use them almost every day! I highly recommend them ^^

Girl I have a few lol 1. Hydrocolloid stars or patches, they're so overpriced when you can literally buy hydrocolloid bandages from CVS or Walgreens and cut them into small bits and it's usually cheaper.
2. Glossier YOU, idk I don't think it smells that great but then again I know it smells different for everyone so maybe I stink😅
3. The infamous Stanley cup, it's a cup lol

I was in the market for an everyday midsize bag so I got the plain black Baggu. $52 was expensiveee to me, but I absolutely love and due carry it everyday. There's really no reason to buy more than one IMO.

Love your channel and this was a great video! I agree with these and one I will also be skipping is UGGS (specifically those Tasman slipper ones, but also just UGGS in general). They’re so ugly and why on earth would someone spend between $80-$160 on a pair of slippers? I don’t get the hype 😭

but shoes are a big thing i always skip out on. i prioritize wide toe box "foot shaped" shoes because i have mild bunions on both feet (probably from wearing converse growing up). i can't comfortably wear trendy shoes so i've grown to stop caring.

that being said, I just went to a concert last weekend and the merch was so good!! It was all my color palette and had cool fonts/motifs- I loved the merch line so much that I bought 3 different shirts :o definitely a rare occurrence though

Aww bummed you listed Baggu as number one 😢. I love mine so much and I purchased it secondhand on Mecuri for a fraction of the price! It holds so much, is comfortable and great for traveling. But I'll take your compliment for being a cool girl version of a Stanley because I will never get on the water bottle trend.
