An Oklahoma news anchor suffered a stroke during a live newscast. Anchor Julie Chin says she suddenly lost vision in one eye. Then her arm went numb and her speech became garbled. She says her symptoms came out of nowhere. Her colleagues recognized something was wrong and called 911. The newscaster says tests at the hospital showed she suffered the early stages of a stroke. Chin says "There are still lots of questions, and lots to follow up on, but the bottom line is I should be just fine."

As a former stroke victim i sympathize with this young woman...I suffered a massive stroke 10 years ago at the age of 55 which is still realativel young to have a stroke...I almost lost my life but by the grace of God I'm still here...Best of luck to this young lady 🙏🙏🙏

Holy cow!! As a Tulsa resident I had no idea Julie Chen had a stroke on air! She’s a locally known figure here in Oklahoma.

Imagine how hard it must’ve been to try and keep your composure while realizing something is happening to you. Thank God those around her acted fast and she’s ok.

Bless her heart. Even with a stroke she has the presence of mind to explain to her audience that something isn't right. Very authentic professional.

My dad suffered a stroke the night before and went to work. His coworkers thought he was drunk :/ they let him drive himself to a clinic. We lost my dad for 6 hours not knowing where he was. We found him and I had to take him to the hospital. It'll be a year since this happened and he's able to walk again and have some mobility on his left side. But it was super disappointing that no one knew what was wrong. The signs of a stroke was obvious but people thought he was drunk..
