TV Reporter Gets Ill on Live Television

A Canadian television reporter is recovering after a medical situation was caught on live television. Reporter Jessica Robb was in the field speaking with an anchor back in the studio when the episode hit. The very articulate journalist started to confuse her words and said, “I’m not feeling very well right now.” Many anti-vaccine advocates have publicly, and falsely, claimed this episode was caused by the COVID-19 vaccine.

Geez, she's trying to do her job and then dealing with a serious medical issue. Then suddenly having to deal with being caught in a public frenzy - terrible. My heart goes out to her.

What a classy team! I’m speaking of the young reporter who got ill and the reporter on the Anchor desk, who took over immediately with such skill. She assured the listeners that Jessica would be taken care of before she went on to the news. I hope they both progress in their careers and in life. They were great.

There was a reporter in America a few years ago who had something similar happen to her. She started slurring her words on camera and everyone accused her of being drunk and/or tweaking. Turns out she was having a mini stroke but she recovered.

I had a seizure a few years back. It was the only one I've ever had, and I hope that it continues to remain that way, but this really reminded me of that moment. There is nothing worse than being in a situation at work, people watching you and expecting things from you, but then you get hit with an indescribably odd sensation that immediately screams to your brain "Yeah... I'll need an ambulance."

Ohhh no that poor girl. I hope and pray she is ok and not embarrassed at all either! She tried so hard to keep her composure despite being clearly disoriented! But kudos to her for keeping calm and still trying her hardest to do her job while about to pass out! So scary though and I cant even imagine what she felt at that time this happened to her. Again must have been so scary! So good that she is ok though! 🙏🏼❤️

Why would any viewers claim to know the cause? Utterly ridiculous! I'm in no way an expert, though it looks like she could have suffered a mini stroke or possibly an epileptic incident. I hope doctors have determined the cause and she has answers and an action plan. I'm glad she is okay. It's also nice to see that the news anchor was truly concerned. That doesn't always happen with coworkers.

I have high blood pressure and that's how I feel sometimes..feels like really bad vertigo. Everything spins to the point I can't stand and need to rest my arm on something to keep me up..I hope she is ok...free healthcare and education
