The irony is that Protestants (like Dr Craig) base their rejection of Catholicism and the Eastern Orthodox on reasons that do include accusing the former of worshipping the (they prefer to reword it as "venerating the Virgin Mary to the level of worship" and insist on it not being actual worship but that's just playing on words, because otherwise the Protestants criticism of Catholicism and Eastern Orthodox would actually be baseless)!!!!

Also it’s funny how Protestantism came EIGHT centuries AFTER Islam, yet they still ask the question “how come someone who came six centuries after Jesus Christ would know more than the people who came before are doing the same exact thing to Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy…….Go figure!

I have heard people say many times ‘holy Mary mother of god’ Astaghfirullah. When I was younger I never registered what people were saying, just thought of it as a saying. But as I became Muslim that sentence certainly changed drastically for me. Mother of god???? How does that even sound normal to people

Easily answered. I can understand if insincere Christian apologists who are just scraping the bottom looking for points against Islam resorting to this nonsensical argument, but for WLC to do same shows his insincerity because he is supposed to know better.

After many many years of Christian debates with Muslims I think it's abundantly clear how completely baseless Christainity is. In fact, these discussions along with my own personal research lead me to Islam many years ago. There is no reconciling Christainity.

The catholic church was the first church in christianity and they did back then and still do today pray to and venerate mother Mary. Ud think a Christian scholar would know this.

Part of the issue is that Christian scholars don’t know the primary languages of their own book (Greek, Aramaic, etc.) let alone enough Arabic to critique the Quran.
Imagine if you met someone who told you they were an PhD-level expert in Russian literature, but couldn’t read a single page of Dostoyevsky! That’s what we are faced with here.
