Cranberry Jalapeño Dip, My favorite Thanksgiving APPETIZER!

This Cranberry Jalapeno Dip has become a family favorite and we look forward to it every year. It has it all with the sweet and spicy, tart and tangy, and of course creamy with the smooth cream cheese. Once you start you can't stop!

Cranberry Jalapeno Dip

Ingredients
fresh chopped cilantro (2 to 3 Tbsp)
12 oz. fresh cranberries
1 jalapeno
3/4 cup sugar
8 oz. cream cheese
1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions
Chop cranberries as fine as possible (chop by hand instead of using a food processor). Chop jalapeno into a small dice and add to the cranberries. Then add the juice from the lemon, sugar, and chopped cilantro. Stir until everything is combined. Cover and refrigerate overnight or at a minimum of 8 hours. In a separate bowl blend cream cheese and heavy cream together until light and fluffy. Spread cheese mixture into the bottom of a pie plate or small dish. Drain the liquid from the cranberries and then spread them over the cream cheese mixture. Serve with crackers.

I’m making this right now. I took a break from cutting the cranberries, 😂 I learned a hack… put the cranberries in a cookie baking tray then your cutting board inside that. It keeps them from rolling around the whole house. I can’t wait to try this! Thanks for sharing 💯

You make it better than I. I just plot the cream cheese down lol . I also use a food processor and don’t drain it . Yours looks so much nicer. Thank you for sharing with your viewers.

YOU SHOULD TRY WITH CHIPOTLE, ITS THE SMOKE AND DRY JALAPEÑO PEPPER. I BET IT TASTE GREAT.
I´M MEXICAN AND WE HAVE A DIP MADE WITH MARMALADE AND CHIPOTLE, THE BEST COMBINATIONS I TRIED, ARE PEACH, ORANGE, STRAWBERRY, RASPEBERRY, PINEAPPLE AND THE CANNED CHIPOTLE, YOU CAN MIX IT WITH THE CREAM CHEESE OR YOU CAN POUR ON THE TOP BEFORE SERVING.

Wonder how it would be without cilantro?? I hate cilantro. Other than that, it looks wonderful❣️❣️❣️The very first salsa I ever made called for cilantro. Nasty… lol.
I make jalapeño/cranberrry jelly and love it.
