This looks like a great upgrade to my travel bag my kit just outgrew. Something that still fits easily on an airplane but can carry a decent bit of gear as well and has a lot of the features of more serious outdoors bags.

I have an Explorer v2 and it is by far the best camera backpack I’ve ever used. Very impressed with the innovation and quality this company exhibits.

Worth every penny.

This backpack has a lot of features that the majority of the "prosumer" backpacks in the same space lack. Really impressed with this one and I think I might just have to cop one.

Hello, I just like to say thank you. I do have two of your bags. They are by far the best camera bags I have. I use them every week.

This might just be my next daily driver. The details are just *chef's kiss* Especially the cable management. Absolutely love how no space is wasted, the little pocket on top of the camera cube (2:10) extra memory cards, batteries etc. Very cool. LIttle request: next time you do videos like this is it possible to have maybe a little text somewhere to indicate which size bag the model is wearing, that makes it a little bit easier to get a sense of what each size bag looks like on women vs men for example.

Shimoda is a great compagny. And i have plenty of different bag. I really hope that in the futur you will do a mix between the urban and the action.

I was excited to have received the Urban Explore 20 on Feb 29! Great Bag but I can see myself wrapping some hockey tape on the springy handles after a lot of use maybe even wrapping some hockey tape soon for extra comfort. Maybe for an upgrade some loops on the right shoulder might be good to tuck away the chest strap when not in use and to attach perhaps a caribiner. All in all a nice bag for booting around the city. I think also a small roll top compartment like the Action 30 could have been a nice feature as well ( Which I have )

Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

Love this bag! Of all the companies, I think Shimoda is my favorite. I cannot wait to own one day. Great work!

Ohh they are absolutely amazing! Any plans on making a couple of short vids on what fits inside the different sizes? Cannot decide between the two smaller sizes. It would nicely complement my Explore 30.

Is the 25L stowable under airline seats (generally)? I noticed there was a clip of a person pulling the bag out from under a seat but I’m not sure what size that one was

Hi. I have a Shimoda Explore V2 30 - it is great bag, but it is a bit heavy for weekend / leisure shooting. I will probably buy another one - the new Urban Explore small 20 when it will be for sale. Can you give me the weight with the core unit and without and when it will be for sale in UK - on your website. I believe it is much lighter. Thanks.

Looks great and I'll probably back. I do have a design question... Why does nearly every manufacturer have the side access flaps fold at the back panel instead of the front? Folding at the front would allow you to access any built-in org on the flap interior; allow easier and protected side access when you have something stowed and strapped in the side pocket, or have the rainfly on; let you use the flap as a sun shade when you're reviewing photos; and provide more security with the zippers toward the wearer.

Really like that PD capture clip mounting point on the strap. Surprised PD hasn't done that with their own backpacks. Assuming the new core unit design would be available separately in the future. Would it be compatible with older explore/action backpacks?
