My boyfriend is bi. We've spoken about it, he doesn't feel attraction to just anyone, but he has developed equally deep, satisfying relationships with both men and women throughout his life. I'm bisexual by the way just to clarify. I'm not greedy, unfaithful, lying, attention seeking, confused, or sick. I like both sex equally and whoever I date I stay with them for as long as we both can because I never give up. I always commit to the relationship and I'd never cheated really. I just try to live life to the fullest and try to not let others pull me down.

people can all have their own definitions of bisexuality but to me its simply the physical attraction to men and women . all my life I was bisexual but I refused to accept it . only last year at the age of 32 I made the decision to identify as bisexual . however let me tell you not all bisexuality is the same . it seems that there are three main types of bisexuality in men . type A: these are guys who are more attracted to men than women . then there's type B: these are guys like me who like women more than men . and lastly there's type C: these are guys who literally like men and women equally . being bisexual doesn't mean you like men and women equally I'm type b bisexual and I like women way more than men . I would like to have relationships with women but not with men . when it comes to men I'm only sexually attracted to them , I could never date or marry a man . despite this study most people still consider bisexual men gay . people do believe women can be bisexual but they don't believe men can . its a double standard that bisexual women get treated better than bisexual men. and it seems that most bisexual men are mostly attracted to men than women . it seems my type of bisexuality is extremely rare cuz I like women more than men and I dress and act very masculine .

I'm a bisexual male and I came out to my parents and at first they said I'm not bi but confused instead, but now they've come round to it and accepted me for who I am. the problem is I have a huge crush on my best friend who is also a guy too. I told him that I like him more than just a friend but he claims to be straight. But he says he's cool with it, but I wish I could just be with him. It's not fare.

@nelsonjo79 That makes a lot of sense. A couple friends came out as bi, "testing the waters" to see how people react, and then later said they were really gay. However, that does not mean all bisexuals are secretly gay.
As a bisexual girl, I will never leave the community. I will always defend the human right to be with who you love and want to be with. I will always defend the right to date the same gender, even when I am with a guy.

Good point. Although i personally dont have a problem with people experimenting if the end goal is to find one's identity. We should should support people who are soul searching. But again, i dont think Bisexuality is a permanent orientation.

Alot of the people i knew in high school who prescribed the bisexual label came out as being gay. 3 of them were good friends. im very proud of them. People have the right to search, transition, and grow into who they want to be. With that said, i still refuse to recognize bisexuality as a permanent orientation. The research is still fairly new on sexual orientations, so i could be wrong. History will eventually be the judge.

I guess what they call a person who has sex with both genders, but only gets emotional with one of the genders is called a "disjunctive" bisexual. A person who is emotionally involved with and has sex with both genders is classified as a "conjunctive" bisexual... According to Karl Ulrichs anyway. That is if focusing on labels serves.

You sir and or madam hit it right on the nail. I my self would say that I'm bisexual and heteroromantic. Most people seem to not understand this. Sadly most people have this idea that bisexuals are right in the middle in terms of sexuality AND romanticism. I don't bother with guys at all since I have both romantic lust and sexual lust towards women. Men I have minor sexual attraction to. But absolutely no romantic lust for men.Wish more people understood like you.

Im reading SO many comments and people just seem to be confused at just what bisexuality is.
It is simply being attracted to both men and women. THAT IS IT.
It does not matter if you like one or the other more. You like both and thats perfectly ok.
Even if you eventually end up being with a man OR a woman for the rest of your life.. that does not necessarily make you either straight or gay.
Last month I loved a woman.
Today I love a man.
I am neither staight nor gay.
Just love who you love.
