I used to have that happen quite a bit, and it was creepy AF. When I started talking to it and laughing at it, it stopped appearing.

My dad experienced one in his room while my mother was asleep. He just recently passed away and I asked him on his death bed whether or not the story was true and he said 100%. He also was a very honest person.

Lake Worth, Florida. Home of the newlyweds and nearly deads! 😂 As the folks from around Palm Beach County once called it. There are no woods left anywhere near it now for a Shadow Man or anything else to hide. Wall to wall houses and people.

When I was still living with my mom the apartment we lived in always gave a weird vibe and my daughter used to be scared of going into my room and then one night when we were in the kitchen I’ll never forget my moms facial expression and I turned around to see the hatman figure just standing there and he slowly walks away towards my room I went after him to see but when I got out of the kitchen I saw nothing but an empty dark hall

A couple weeks ago, I woke up to a shadowy figure in my room (there may have been a second one peaking out from behind the second one, but I can't remember).

I remember asking him (looked masculine, idk) if he wanted chocolate. No idea why, I did that. I was going to say I had a Hershey's bar, but remembered I liked those, so instead I told him I had a yoo-hoo bar in the freezer. I just kept asking him if he wanted chocolate and then he disappeared, kinda like poofing and fading smoke. I remember saying out loud "He must not have wanted it" then going back to sleep.

In the morning it felt like such a weird memory, that I even checked the freezer, and the chocolate I told him about was still in the freezer.

Idk what's weirder, the shadowy figure, or my own half asleep behavior.

The only time I have seen shadow figures is when close family or friends die. From brief, to dancing. I always assumed it was the “shadow of death.” My father died this November and I saw nothing.

That was a relief, not that he died, but because his brain cancer made him crazy and violent. I have divorced myself from the evil the disease made him, to who he was.

I saw one in the house stood behind the sofa when I was a kid early evening watching TV sat on a “bean bag” in front of the sofa.. (it was ironically a comedy.) My mum walked in & asked who am I talking to?
I didn’t know. I called it “toilet door man.” He was built like the sign on the men’s door?
I was more talking at it than anything else. It never said a word…

Omg i had this experience at my old house it would sometimes stand in the middle of my room watching me i remember it would get really cold at first i thought it was my mom i was 18 …the one that freaked me out the most is when i woke up in the middle of the night to turn off the porch lights after falling asleep to the tv i remember the light started flickering i heard loud screams and this pitch black shadow running cross my porch right in front of me i have never been so freaked out in my life ….i didn’t have this issue at my new house thank god ….this happened In Florida
