Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet is a Third Person Shooter Role-Playing Game. The game was developed by Dimps, using the Unreal 4 Engine, and is set in Gun Gale Online. It is the first Sword Art Online TPSRPG and the first Sword Art Online game on the Xbox One platform. It is also the first Sword Art Online game to all for a custom character creation. Players create a custom character in which they 'Log In' to Gun Gale Online. Players then complete quests, make 'friends' with NPC player characters, and level up much like a real MMO game. Players can find, collect, and use a wide range of weapons such as Hand Guns, Sub Machine Guns, Assault Riffles, Sniper Riffles, and Photon Swords. A player can equip two weapons they can use while in zones and dungeons. Players can also find and two equip accessories such as hats, ear-rings, and glasses.The game has several game modes Normal Mode: This is the main story Kirito Mode: Play through a story Arc as Kirito dealing with Death Gun Ambush of the Imposters: The first DLC - Discover the truth behind a mysterious instance with several ArFA-sys units. Betrayal of Comrades: The Second DLC - Uncover the Truth the copy ArFA-sys. Collapse of Balance: The Third DLC - Lievre arrived in SBC Glocken with plans for destruction. Dissonance of the Nexus: The Fourth DLC - This is an epilogue that takes place after the main story in the Snowy Plains of GGO.

If you're looking to try an sao game, there's 3 very different types so far.
Those being (By recent release)
Lost Song(?)/Accel World Vs SAO - large worlds and dungeons to explore via Riding a bike or flying, dumped with enemies and materials used to for upgrades or accessories to link onto a WIDE VARIETY of characters, all with mostly unique skills and play style. As well as a interesting and thoughtful story.

Fatal bullet - Perhaps one of the most successful of SAO games; Filled with fast paced run and gun fun. Plenty of builds, consisting of skills and weapons people can experiment with to take on challenging odds, also has a large expansive story with dlc.

Alicization - I personally relate to what Ventus has described with this one, Alicization is kind of a throwback to the older sao games. Basic automatic combat while you control the tactics in a battle like knowing when to use a skill while a boss is stunned per say.

I have to say fatal bullet is one of the best Sao games out of all of them no cap

I used to play this non stop when it first came out.bought all the dlcs and everything while they were coming out.was loads of fun and never really got to boring with the pvp. What started killing the fun for me in this game is when you get to a certain bounty in the game your given accesorry's that give 50% humanoid damage reduction as a reward. And with the fact you can transfer stuff between characters you could give yourself another one of those and then in pvp you basically become invincible and cant die when you equip 2. Running into a lot people that were doing this just killed the aspect of the game i kept coming back for.

I really love Fatal Bullet and I hope that in the future they make other games in the SAO or SA:O or even Alfeihem (probably spelled wrong) where you can create your own character in a way to where you even interact with the story or have an original story like the mobile game SAO Integral Factor.

I was on the fence about trying any SAO games for a long time but finally picked up the complete edition of Fatal Bullet for my switch earlier this year and ever since I have played it more than basically all of my other games. Definitely recommend it if your looking for an SAO game where you live your own personal story on the SAO universe.

The fact that sao fatal bullet introduced custom character creation was exactly wat players wanted in sao there own custom oc immersing themselves in the world but nope they threw it all away with alicization, last recollection and fractured daydream to put us back with kirito and friends i dont hate kirito and friends but i dont wanna play them i just wanna be my own character and the devs dont even care to bring back custom oc creation dimps corp made fatal bullet and soon to be released fractured daydream while aquria co made alicization and last recollection

if you still have missed out on fatal bullet try it out its one of the better sword art online games im not a fps guy but i had ton of fun with this game. weapons feel good upgrading things is deep and a bit grindy as we all like it, the art is great feels like you are right in the anime, there are hard things for ppl who like a challange, if you are good player you can smash this game, if you are a casual you can just have fun with some aim assist. if someone wanna play on pc hit me up i just reinstalled the game ;)

I'm on my 18th ish character Rn and omg is it still fun af... just after a long ass burn out break... but that break is worth it

I really love the environment and atmosphere of this game. I'm not an anime guy and I had no idea what I was buying tbh, but I'm glad I got it. It reminded me of a game I played as a kid called Shin Megami Online and the art style looked so similar. I wish industrial art styles were more common in games
