Imagine spending all day chiseling in "Dentist -8:30" just to have the receptionist call to reschedule for Thursday.

@0:12 There is actually a psychological disorder called the "Sunday Scaries, " where people become very anxious or scared thinking about going back to work on Monday.
It is similar to Garfield, he famously hates Mondays (like the comic strip in the video).

Youngsters don't get it, when the clock struck 2012 people were laughing, crying, quiet, sober. High, drunk, having sex, everyone thought something horrific was happening. Don't get me started on y2k lol 😅

It'd be hard to convince me that the world didn't fracture in some way around 2012.

How could the Mayans predict the end of the world when they couldn’t even predict the end of themselves?

The Maya had complex views of time. They thought of the world in small and large cycles. The end of something is the beginning of something else. Even if the birds of annihilation came down and killed us all for not singing the songs...in their own myth, people would begin again.

Imagine if the Mayans were still around. 2012 would've been a crazy party I bet.

I'd like to learn about the time that the Grateful Dead got so big they started doing shows under their previous name, the warlocks.

Yep, all that happened was another day came and went.

I was attending a Wine and Chocolate fest that day. I would have left this world with a smile and Chocolate on my face.

There are various Maya groups who speak both their native languages and their spins on regional Mexican, Guatemalan and Honduran Spanish!
