I've been trying to learn more about Superdeterminism after watching Hossenfelder's video on free will, I can barely make head or tail of it. I'm pretty ignorant of physics on a deep level so found this video helpful to get the broad strokes of how it works, and where else to look. This is the first video of yours I've watched, and I enjoyed it.

I have trouble wrapping my head around how superdeterminism can explain nonlocality. It always seemed to me the reason people call superdeterminism a "conspiracy" is because in order to reproduce Bell inequalites you'd need somehow the detectors or even the observer themselves to be correlated with the particles in just such a way they happen to appear to violate locality while not doing so. Every lecture I've watched of her I've never seen her really explain this in the terms of superdeterminism, at least, maybe not in clear enough terms that someone who is not an expert can wrap their head around.

If this theory's outcomes have to deal with infinitely large numbers and for practical purposes uncomputable, then how can you ever prove that it's correct? Isn't this then the same as claiming that we live in a matrix or another form of simulation? Doesn't this make entire theoretical physics obsolete?

Also, if his form of superdeterminism started with our universe, and there were artifacts from previous universes or whatever, then this theory still fails to account for everything, fails the "super" part. It can be "turtles all the way down", and in that case we will need to come up with another super-super*-determinism et al to account for universe pre-history. And there is no way we can put a numerical boundary on that prehistory - it's infinity for all practical purposes, therefore this current iteration of superdeterminism is still a theory that does not do away with non-locality, because our entire universe might be moving through some other medium in another dimension or whatever.

Hello! I enjoyed this but at least half the video (so far) is very meta and off topic. Time stamps would be nice for the audience.

Somewhere in that paper it is said: "superdeterminism is internally consistent".
Well, no, it isn't. It is as "consistent" as everything that requires miracles, unbelievable and implausible coincidences, or / and some kind of "Deus ex Machina "...

Did you know that the Earth is actually not round, but superflat? This is because of the Big Bang (shouldn't it be called Super Bang, now?). Please don't mind regarding superexpressions, since due to superdeterminism the people believing in superdeterminsim were entitled and destined to do just that by this superuniverse. (Quote SH) "I do like it".
Sarcasm apart, I would argue that superdeterminism might just be a rationalized psychological coping-mechanism concerning quantum physics weirdness. In a nutshell, superdeterminism means this: Be confident of throwing non-locality and related philosophical irritations into the Big Bang Bin.
