What if the man was looking for shirts and coats to buy for his son? Just because his arm is broken doesn't mean his son can't get a coat. He could have also bought it for after his arm got fixed so he can wear it and be grateful his arm is in a good condition.

1) The argument: who buys shirts and coats in a cast? Um anyone that needs a shirt or coat and also broke their casted body part. Wearing a cast doesn’t mean you stop needing normal things. Lol.
Also whos to say concealing in a cast is the only or most logical way in this scene??

2)the victim is wounded on the left side which would likely indicate the perp is right handed. Which leaves the casted dude on the bench and leaves the only 2 ppl in the store and ironically both are right handed: the old lady and yellow shirt.
Old lady would not likely leave her post at the register unmanned which just leaves ol’ yellow shirt, who curiously looks like he was just in a scuffle.
