This is SpaceX’s very first human crew

This year, if all goes well, astronauts will launch to space on a private craft for the first time in history. It’s SpaceX’s big chance to show NASA that it can be trusted with the work of ferrying astronauts to and from the international space station. We met the two astronauts selected for this historic mission and spoke with them about what’s different about working with a private company like SpaceX.

Doug "Chunky" Hurley is 52 years old and piloted the last Shuttle flight STS-135 in July 20011. PHD Bob Behnken is 48 years old and flew on two Shuttle flights, STS-123 and STS-130 as a mission specialist. Super happy they are going to use two very experienced NASA Astronauts for these first flights!!!

I remember Doug. He’s the guy in the video being passed around where you can see another actor not tugging on his wire harness. Super dedicated actor bc he kept right on filming as if nothing happened along with the rest of them.
