Inside Chinese EV maker NIO's intelligent car factory

Chinese electric vehicle maker NIO is targeting the higher end of the vast electric vehicle (EV) market. The U.S.-listed company is known for its smart premium models and battery-swapping solutions. CGTN reporter Wang Tianyu visited NIO's Second Advanced Manufacturing Center in east China's Hefei, the largest city in Anhui Province. Take a look at what it is like inside.

Fully automated factories. In the future, you might not even need human labor anymore, which means you don't have to pay for labor, which means, you can effectively produce things for free. A completely vertically integrated factory from raw natural resources to finished end products may not be a pipe dream anymore. The universe of Wall-e basically.

NIO needs to make a large, tall suv with the revolutionary Bose-Clear Motion electromagnetic suspension. If the suspension
works as advertised, it is a game changer for high end vehicles. The et9 is a car for rich Chinese to be chauffeured around in. Americans put kids and dogs in their back seats.

They have to build, maintain, repair the automats, robots, ai instead. And in a later step they have to lead to devices and AI building, maintaining, repairing and recycling these automats, robots and AI instead. You can even go further...but I do not want your neural structure to shut down due to overheating.

Australia has the cheapest EVs in the world as Chinese auto companies have full access to the Australian market with no trade barriers. BYD's Seal costs around A$55, 000. The same car in Europe is about A$90, 000. In the US they cant even import it as its banned. You cannot impose barriers to keep away modern technology. You will end up becoming the loser.

Recommend to President Xi and/or the Chinese government to ask an electric car company like Li Auto to open a factory and research center in Kyrgyzstan and Thailand to open their market and appetite for electric cars and create local jobs. Also, invest in the Vietnamese electric car company Vinfast by taking shares or partnership and then sharing Nio's battery swap technology with them. They can then sell the cars in China.
