So fun fact, cobwebs were actually a fairly effective way to treat wounds. It’s anti microbial (at least according to most sources, although this has been disputed) and have various properties that prevent infection. So while spiders might be spooky, this is actually a surprisingly efficient medieval treatment.

Some other fun facts, web is incredibly strong. It surpasses steak in strength, and is flexible and stretchable. It’s actually stronger than Kevlar. And we have found some ways to mass produce it.

If you cut yourself while shaving with a razor:

1 make sure you're using the right angle for your type of shaver/razor

2 if it cuts you too frequently it might be time to replace the blades. Every hair that hits the razor actually blunts it a bit. So they will loose their sharpness a bit and get edges that then cut you.
